Congratulations are in order, folks.

Your favorite Backstreet Boy, Nick Carter, and his wife Lauren Kitt just announced on social media that they are expecting a child with a touching rainbow-colored photo.

The rainbow colors are most likely there as a nod to their rainbow baby, a child that is born after a miscarriage.

"Thank You God for giving us the greatest gift we could ever ask for," Carter captioned the photo.

Last September, the 39-year-old artist shared that his wife had suffered a miscarriage. He made mention of canceling his show in Lima, Peru, but the show continued on as scheduled.

"God give us peace during this time. I really was looking forward to meeting her after 3 months. I’m heart broken," Carter wrote to his Twitter account. "I don’t think I can perform tonight. I’m sorry Lima."

Carter and Kitt are currently parents to their son named Odin, who they welcomed in April 2016. However, prior to welcoming their first child, Carter shared that they had a tough road towards parenthood.

"It's been rocky to be quite honest with you," said Carter in a "Dancing with the Stars" episode. "There's been times when we thought it wouldn't happen."

"We were pregnant before, and we lost the baby," said Kitt. "And it was really hard on Nick."
