Voyage menu

Café Lurcat has rolled out its new Voyage menu themed “East of Havana.” The Voyage menu changes every few months and highlights cuisine from different global or U.S. regions. “East of Havana” is comprised of many of the islands in the Caribbean. Many of the ideas for dishes come from Cuba, Jamaica, Trinidad, Haiti, Bahamas etc. This region has a bounty of select meat and fish, tropical fruits and vegetables. Many indigenous items in Florida are seen in the Caribbean as well. 239-213-3357.


Cooking class

Join Roman restaurateur Franca Maria Paglini at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barbatella. Paglini will teach the classic fettuccini and artichoke dish. Franca is a restaurateur and chef with two popular restaurants: Ristorante della Vittoria, located steps from St. Peter's Square, and Mama's Ristorante. $45 per person. Reserve at 239-263-1955.


‘La Table Française’

The next event of Alliance Française de Naples will take place at noon Thursday, June 29, at Café Normandie, 3756 U.S. 41 N., Naples. The event is for all individuals who are interested to come and chat in French (all levels of French). It will be led by President Denyse Jenkins. The cost your meal only. There is no charge for the two-hour French conversation. Each attendee needs to make his/her own reservation for the table of Alliance Française de Naples by calling 239-261-0977.

Summer menu

Tartine & Tartelette's summer menu is now available all night. Two courses and one glass of wine for $24.90 per person, or $49.90 for two people with two courses per person and a bottle of wine. Reservations recommended. 239-888-1151.

The art of grilling

BRIO Tuscan Grille is celebrating summer with a new menu available through July 23. The menu features grilled branzino and summer panzanella salad, grilled half chicken and New York strip steak. New menu items are available at dinner only. Each entrée comes with a Dolchino dessert. 239-593-5319.  

Happy hour

For the rest of June, happy hour has been extended from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. everyday at Bice Ristorante. Half off food menu, $5 drinks and house wine, $4 beers. 239-262-4044.    

Kids in the kitchen

Barbatella will offer a “Kids in the Kitchen” cooking class July 8 at 11:30 a.m. with master chefs Fabrizio Aielli and Jason Goddard. The theme for the class is “pizza meets sandwich.” Kids will have fun while they learn cooking skills from professionals. $45 per student, includes tax and gratuity. 239-263-1955.

Summer early dining

Bleu Provence is offering a new early dining special from 5 to 7 p.m. everyday, except major holidays. A three-course menu and a glass of house wine costs $32.99. The menu includes an appetizer such as the homemade smoked salmon, an entree such as Florida pompano and a choice of dessert. 239-261-8239.
