Oprah announces Lady Gaga will join her for Florida show in January
Oprah Winfrey will kick off her nine-show "Oprah's 2020 Vision: Your Life in Focus" in Florida, with a special celebrity guest for each.
Wednesday afternoon, Oprah announced that Lady Gaga will join her Jan. 4 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise.
The Florida show kicks off her U.S. tour and is the only one in the Sunshine State. The other closest cities to Florida are Charlotte, North Carolina, on Jan. 18 and Atlanta on Jan. 25.
Celebrities joining for the other shows: Tina Fey in St. Paul, Minnesota; Amy Schumer in Charlotte; Dwayne Johnson in Atlanta; Michelle Obama in Brooklyn, New York; Tracee Ellis Ross in Dallas; Kate Hudson in San Francisco; Jennifer Lopez in Los Angeles; and Gayle King in Denver.
"Each city is going to feature a different lineup of celebrity guests and some of the biggest names in wellness, people from all walks of life who took charge of their lives and created lasting change," Winfrey said in a video promoting the tour when she announced it in early September.
Winfrey, 65, is best known for her talk show that ran 25 years, from 1986 to 2011. "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is the highest-rated program of its kind in history. Her net worth is nearly $3 billion.
