This Memorial Day, Pinchers is honoring all military, current and past, and inviting them to enjoy a free meal.

Happy hour means two-for-one Margaritas and platters of oysters, shrimp or clams. Pinchers, the Southwest Florida chain of seafood restaurants, has opened its newest location next to the Marco Walk Plaza.

Veterans and active military personnel who present a valid military ID or proof of service will be offered a free meal, up to $17, at all Pinchers locations between Tampa and Key West on Memorial Day, May 29.

The Phelan family, founders of Pinchers, has a long history of service to our country, as do many of our dedicated team members throughout the company.

Hunt named ‘#1 listing sales professional’

Kathryn Hunt of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) Florida Realty’s Marco Island office, has been recognized as the number one listing sales professional for the month of April. Hunt successfully closed $2,550,000 in volume sales for the month.

Hunt has taken over where she left off in 2016 when she was named to the prestigious BHHS Honor Society which represents the top 10 percent of sales professionals in the BHHS network. She has been consistently recognized as a top producing sales professional both locally and nationally through the BHHS network.

Jon and Suzan Busch recognized as ‘#1 sales professionals’

Jon and Suzan Busch of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BHHS) Florida Realty’s, Marco Island Office, have been recognized as number one sales professionals for the month of April. The Busch’s successfully closed $2,150,000 in volume sales for the month.

The Busch’s have taken over where they left off in 2016 when they were named to the prestigious BHHS Leading Edge Society, representing the top seven-percent of sales professionals in the BHHS network.

The Busch’s have been recognized as consistent top producers, both locally on Marco Island and around the nation through the BHHS network.

Dollar General awards $255,000

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation recently announced the award of $255,000 in literacy grants to Florida nonprofit organizations, libraries and schools, including $1,500 to the Greater Marco Family YMCA, Inc.

These funds are aimed at supporting adult, family and summer literacy programs within a 20-mile radius of a Dollar General store or distribution center across the 44 states Dollar General serves, and plan to positively impact the lives of nearly 13,000 Floridians.

Dollar General’s newest store at 5232 Golden Gate Parkway in Naples is now open.

Dollar General’s newest store at 440 W. Elkcam Circle in Marco Island is now open.

Statewide grants are part of more than $7.5 million that the Dollar General Literacy Foundation awarded in total.
