Florida Fish & Wildlife investigating fatal shooting of FWC officer in Hendry County
Florida Wildlife Conservation officer Julian Keen Jr. was found fatally shot in Hendry County Sunday morning.
A spokesman for the FWC said an investigation on the shooting was active and further information would be released later today.
The Hendry County Sheriff's Office, handing the investigation along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, said it had three suspects in custody.
The Hendry Sheriff's Office said the shooting happened in the morning hours Sunday in the area of Apache Circle and Nobles Road in LaBelle. It was reported to Hendry County Dispatch that someone was shot.
When deputies arrived on scene the found Keen, 30, fatally shot.

Keen, with the FWC since 2016, grew up in the LaBelle area and attended school there, running track and playing football at Labelle High School.
The former high school defensive end later played ball at Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida, where he transferred from College of the Desert.
