According to Friday's report from the Florida Department of Health, there are now 49,451 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state. That's an increase of 776 cases from Thursday's report. There were also 46 additional deaths reported by the state Friday, increasing Florida's death toll to 2,190. 

The total number of people who have been hospitalized is 9,117, though the Department of Health notes that figure does not reflect the number of COVID-19 patients currently in hospitals.
