The Florida Department of Health reported a total of 45 Collier County COVID-19 deaths, an increase of three since Friday, according to Saturday's report. 

The reported deaths were a 96-year-old female, a 63-year-old man and a 79-year-old man. They all had contact with a confirmed case. 

The department confirmed Collier's first three cases of the novel coronavirus Wednesday, March 11. Since then, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Collier has increased to 1,195, an increase of 35 cases since Friday.

A total of 169 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19, according to the report, but that number does not reflect the people currently in the hospital, as some have been released.

The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
