Neighbor heard two gunshots; next morning learns man, boy dead in apparent murder-suicide in East Naples

Forrest Ficke was playing a video game Sunday night. He heard two gunshots and dismissed them.

"You hear a lot of that when you're playing Call of Duty," he said.

The next morning, Ficke, 20, heard several police sirens and ambulances flooding the condominium complex adjacent to his Naples home in Royal Harbor.

"It was a sinking feeling," he said.

Ficke later learned the gunshots he heard Sunday night were related to a murder-suicide.
