THE MEASURES

The measures include college readiness with a 30% weight, college curriculum breadth with a 10% weight, reading and math proficiency with a 20% weight, reading and math performance with a 20% weight, underserved student performance with a 10% weight and graduation rate with a 10% weight.

The weights were used to calculate and get an overall percentile score between zero and 100. For low-performing high schools that ranked in the bottom 25 percent, a "468 - 555" range was given for the state rankings. A "12,935 - 17,245" range was given for the national rankings.

Some were marked ‘unranked’ because of missing data, including enrollment of fewer than 15 12th graders.
