The Florida Department of Health reported 137 new cases of COVID-19 in Collier County on Tuesday. The death toll is 60, according to the state.

The department confirmed Collier's first three cases of the novel coronavirus Wednesday, March 11. Since then, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Collier has increased to 2,729.

A total of 284 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Tuesday, according to the report, but that number does not reflect the people currently in the hospital, as some have been released. 

The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
