FSU baseball's previously postponed game vs. Mercer rescheduled for Wednesday
The Florida State baseball team will play a midweek game after all this week.
The No. 22 Seminoles (12-8, 8-7 in ACC) have rescheduled their previously postponed game against Mercer (13-10) for Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Dick Howser Stadium.
The game was originally scheduled to be FSU's first midweek game of the season back on March 2 before it was postponed due to an inclement weather forecast.
The rescheduling of the game allows FSU to move past last weekend's home series loss to Wake Forest before the Seminoles host North Carolina for another ACC series this weekend.
True freshman pitcher Carson Montgomery has been FSU's starter for both of the Seminoles' first two midweek games this season. He may be again, but he did throw 34 pitches in relief in FSU's Sunday loss to Wake Forest.
For those who had tickets for the previous Mercer game, those will be honored for this week's game.
