Warm afternoons holding water temperatures unseasonal 73-75. Storms go passé. Winds stay gusty and stronger late p.m. Impact water clarity in shallows. Both tides moderate. Red tide staying north...so far. Early action showing on larger sheepshead despite warmth. On deeper edges, structure working half shrimp on vertical soft lift: work through smaller juveniles. Juvenile snook stay active current points Henderson Creek and Johnson Bay on pilchards, late incoming best. Redfish on edges Sea Oat Island and Keeywadin docks working whole shrimp with late incoming best.


Gusty p.m. and choppy conditions. Scattered reports mackerel, blues, jacks early morning incoming circa Walton Reef working tipped surface jigs over chum. Lane and mangrove snapper southeast corner Five Mile working weighted jigs couple feet off bottom under chum. Sheepshead to keeper size first show working bottom structure 20-30’ off hotels working tad shrimp and crab with soft lift technique.


Conditions permitting. Some waning action on south migrating kings showing on wrecks holding bait using live runner on wire under chum. Chance singular cobia same venue on threadfin on sight cast. Red grouper action fair 55 - 60’ hard bottom working live pinfish and cut ladyfish tight to bottom on tidal drift.
